Safe Spot Pest Control was founded in 2004 by Kendall J. Washington. With a concentration on customer service, Safe Spot Pest Control experienced rapid growth until August 2005 when Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast, including the home based office. Upon returning to New Orleans, the Dillard University graduate was determined to continue providing superior customer service and expanding the footprint of Safe Spot Pest Control while operating out of a St. Charles Avenue hotel room and a house in Old Gretna.

Today, Safe Spot Pest Control operates out of its office on Chef Menteur Highway in eastern New Orleans and continues to offer quality termite, pest and rodent control services to residential and commercial customers throughout Southeast Louisiana.  Owner Kendall J. Washington continues adding accomplishments to his biography including graduating valedictorian of the Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business Program in 2011.
